Dr. Phillips and Bay Hill are established, and that shows in the tree cover and the range of architecture on a single street. Homes here span several decades of building, so the design has to follow the house rather than a pattern.
Decades of architecture on one street. Single-story ranches sit beside later two-story stucco builds, with shingle, barrel tile and flat sections all in the mix. Attachment is chosen per surface, and the design follows the actual roofline instead of forcing one template across every house.
The oak canopy decides how much roofline is worth lighting. Under established Dr. Phillips oaks a roofline can be half-hidden from the road. Wrapping trunks and lower limbs, plus pathway lighting, puts the display where it is visible rather than above the tree line.
Golf and water frontage means a second elevation. Bay Hill lots on the course and the Sand Lake shoreline are seen from more than the street. Where that applies the back of the house is designed as its own view rather than left dark.
Circular drives and deep front yards. Many homes here sit back behind a wide front yard or a circular drive. Driveway-edge and pathway lighting bridges that distance so the display begins at the curb instead of sixty feet behind it.

Dr. Phillips questions
Yes, and on most Dr. Phillips lots it matters more than the roofline. Under a mature canopy the roof is partly hidden from the street, so wrapping trunks and lower limbs is what makes the display visible from the road.
That's a common Dr. Phillips situation and it's solved with layers rather than more roofline. Pathway lighting, driveway edges, and wrapped trees bring the display forward so it starts at the curb instead of at the house.
Yes. Lakefront homes are designed for both approaches so the rear elevation isn't dark when the front is lit. It's worth raising at the consultation so the design covers both.

Installs begin October 1 and the calendar fills in the order homes are booked. The earlier you are on it, the more say you have over your install date.
